Nike: FØRWARD Non-Woven Material Innovation

Opportunity 

Nike approached Verify to conduct early-stage consumer testing for its new FØRWARD product. The goal? To uncover critical user insights before investing in larger-scale development and launch. Nike wanted to ensure clarity around key product features, usability, and consumer response as part of its innovation and product validation process.

Work

We deployed a mixed-methods approach to surface deep and actionable insights quickly, leveraging quantitative surveys, in-person Interviews, and hands-on product testing - observing participants interacting with early prototypes of the FØRWARD product to identify pain points, strengths, and usage behaviors.

Impact

This blended methodology allowed us to triangulate findings across data sources and gain both breadth and depth of understanding. Our early testing delivered transformative clarity that identified improvement areas and usability issues enabling target refinements before costly iterations.
